ArtStone, manufacturer of Quarazon® was founded by Art Duy in 1999, a licensed general contractor with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

ArtStone originally began development of Quarazon® to address the need for more consistency in delivery of stone surfaces at the construction level, and more competitive pricing. Trends in the housing market toward natural stone surfaces had increased, but the solid stone countertops had been unattainable by a large percentage of homeowners due to high costs, and alternatives were inferior in quality and appearance.

Over the next 10 years, ArtStone focused on development, testing and refining the methods and equipment used to produce and install Quarazon® granite tile countertops. Focusing primarily on the new construction market, Quarazon® has been supplied to homebuilders and homeowners in the Greater Salt Lake Area with 100% satisfaction.
